What is Online Personal Training?
It is personal training through phone calls, e-mail and video conferencing.
These days, if you can’t make it to the gym — or just don’t feel like leaving home — you can still meet one-on-one with a personal trainer.
Some people have searched online to find a fitness trainer who could train them virtually because they don’t have access to a gym or trainer.
Unlike pre-taped workout videos, Skype training is live, and the trainer can see what the client is doing. A tape can’t correct dangerous form or push someone to keep going when she wants to quit.
If you live outside of the Daytona Beach area but areinterested in training with Younger You Fitness, then contact Heath at (386) 295-3639.

“Since I’m now in the 50-plus age group I appreciate having a personal trainer that specializes in training for that age group. I appreciate his mild mannered disposition which allows me to have a pleasant, productive workout without a ‘drill sergeant’ atmosphere. I would not hesitate to recommend Heath to anyone seeking a personal trainer.”
Albert Aldo, President of Oceans Grand Condominiums Board
“Heath has done an excellent job as a coach and personal trainer. He has worked at my pace and has shown me how to exercise properly and safely and has kept me motivated. If you're considering a personal trainer, I would highly recommend Heath to anyone who is looking for positive results from their workouts.”
Carole Weidemiller, Daytona Beach Shores Culture and Entertainment Board
“When my doctor suggested I begin a Wellness Plan (aka diet), I dropped some extra pounds quickly, and while I was so pleased with my progress, my doctor didn’t share my enthusiasm. Her concern was that her tests indicated I had been losing lean body mass as opposed to fat. With Heath’s instruction I worked to regain muscle mass, lose fat and become more fit. After hiring Heath as my personal trainer for the past several weeks, my doctor informed me that my ratio of body fat to lean body mass is now within a healthy range. Lifting weights has never been an activity that I have enjoyed, but Heath is a very personable and knowledgeable young man who makes training not only bearable but pleasurable as well. I highly recommend Heath Barrow as your personal trainer to help you reach your fitness goals.”
Ann LaCute, owner of Seeley Medical
“I took advantage of the trial offer in order to see if I was comfortable with having a trainer in my home that I unfamiliar with and of course to see what type of training style Heath provided. I am 59 years old, somewhat familiar with "working out", but could never consistently do strength training on my own. Knowing that my personal trainer (Heath)would be coming to train me has kept me on track and I found his style to be sensitive to my ‘aches and pains’ as well as providing me a great workout. As I age, gracefully, I know I can go for walks, ride my bike and swim, but adding the strength training has made a difference in my ability to continue to keep up my bone health and agility.”
“Since being diagnosed with MS over 18 years ago, it’s important for me to be active and stay strong. Earlier in the year I could feel myself getting weaker and I started to be more and more concerned about falls. Since training with a personal trainer over the last few months, I’ve regained a lot of the strength and balance that I had lost. I’ve even had friends comment on how much faster I can take a flight of stairs! If you’re looking to regain strength and balance, then I strongly suggest you contact Heath to be your personal trainer.”

About Heath Barrow, Head Trainer
Heath graduated from the University of Georgia in 1994 with a degree in Exercise Physiology. A couple of years later he worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Memphis. He had an internship with the Strength & Conditioning Coach and spent time training Division I collegiate athletes (men’s football, women’s basketball, women’s volleyball).
Heath spent some time personal training in Los Angeles but it wasn’t until he moved to Fort Lauderdale that he found his natural niche. Within the first 3 months of building his personal training client base it was obvious that there was a strong tendency for baby boomers to choose Heath over other available trainers. For the past 10 years, most of his personal training clients have been in their 40's, 50’s & 60’s, with the oldest being a 92 year old WWII veteran.
Heath has now turned 40 himself and enjoys reading books and articles on 40+ fitness and active aging. Moving to Daytona Beach a few years ago, he has finally found a community to set in deep roots. He has a wife and 2 little ones (boy and girl) and no matter how busy or tired he is, he always spends lots and lots of time with them.
